This type of exfoliating gel is very common in Asia. Place a thin layer on your face, and slowly rub off the dead skin. It'll happen in a matter of seconds. Although it's extremely gentle and leaves nearly zero redness, I recommend staying out of the sun as much as possible and using it only 1-2 times a week. It blows my mind that it's not available in the US. I discovered this in a resort spa in Atami, Japan and stocked up while I was there (very pricey). Hanayuki Exfoliating Cleansing Gel is very different from the other exfoliators I have tried in the past. The reason this product is unique is because it is a headless gel. It contains no visible exfoliators, and has no scent, which I know many people can appreciate. What happens when the product touches your skin in hard to explain, basically as you move your finders in circular motions as recommended the gel begins to form these beads, out of nowhere that begin to exfoliate your skin. The formal feels very gentle, in fact you don’t even feel the friction, as the gel makes the process very smooth and light. After you use it your skin feels baby soft and fresh. I like that it’s gel because it actually helps remove makeup and cleanses skin at the same time. This product contains ingredients that are really good for your skin too, like witch hazel, lemon, sage and hops. Its also free of preservatives and ethanol, which you all know is great. Its important to not over exfoliate and to use a gentle exfoliator 2-3 times a week, and I would certainly recommend this one. (Posted on 12/4/12)

I have never came across this kind of soap before!! It does not soap up! It rubs into your skin and creates clumps of dirt/skin/makeup! I LOVE this product because I can SEE the product working into my skin! It was so nice to actually see the dead skin and makeup rubbing off my face. However, it does take getting use to do remove the dirt that the soap builds up. Overall, I will definitely recommend this product because it left my skin so soft!!! (Posted on 11/20/12)
